Guwahati: In a moving tribute to the late Assamese music icon Zubeen Garg, popular singer Papon took to the stage at Barsapara Stadium ahead of the ICC Women’s World Cup opening match between India and Sri Lanka on Tuesday.

The soulful performance saw Papon honoring Zubeen Garg’s legacy through a series of heartfelt renditions, accompanied by Shreya Ghoshal and the Shillong Chamber Choir, adding layers of melody and emotion to the tribute.
