98th Howly Raas Mahotsav 2025: Tradition, Devotion & A Grand Musical Finale

The town of Howly in Barpeta is preparing for the grand 98th Howly Raas Mahotsav, one of Assam’s most loved cultural and spiritual festivals. This year, the celebration becomes even more exciting as popular singer Niraaj Sridhar is set to perform on the final day, adding a star-studded musical finale to the event. Along with divine devotion and cultural heritage, the festival also features a special donation coupon drive where lucky participants stand a chance to win a Land Rover Defender. Coupon sales began on October 20, 2025, and the final draw will take place on November 19, 2025 at Howly Chariali.
