Nalbari is preparing to host one of Assam’s most cherished cultural festivals — the 92nd Nalbari Raas Mahotsav, scheduled from November 5 to November 17, 2025, at the historic Sri Sri Harimandir. This 13-day celebration remains a symbol of devotion, tradition, and artistic excellence, drawing thousands of visitors every year.

The Nalbari Raas Mahotsav is deeply rooted in Assam's cultural and spiritual heritage, celebrating the divine tales of Lord Krishna through art, performance, and devotion. The festival’s hallmark is its exquisite clay idol installations, which intricately depict various events from Krishna’s life — a tradition that has earned admiration across generations.
A major highlight this year will be a mega tribute to the late music legend Zubeen Garg on November 7. More than 8,000 artists from across Assam will come together to perform his songs — a heartfelt celebration of his music and legacy.
